I got my GL-6 set form the netherlands yesterday...

here they are...

the routing is actually pretty good...

Neck pup installed. I didn't install it backwards like most guitars are built.... the leads are closest to the floor.

shit. pickup installation hit a snag. the indonesian slave child that drilled the screw holes for hte bridge pickup must have twitched under the stress of the impending whipping and drilled them at an angle. right now im plugging and waiting for glue to dry...

Alrighty im posting an enormous MP3 first...

Amp settings are identical for both pickups.

First clip:
Stock Randall pickups. I cycle Bridgge, then midle pozish, then neck
Turn on "lead" channel, same cycle.

Second Clip:
Q tuner. Bridge middle neck clean
Lead, bridge middle neck. THEN I turn everything to 11 and jam Bridge middle neck.

upping to soundclick now...

Keep in mind i didn't "tweak" or do anything to the amp settings or the recorded files. They both sounds pretty awful imo..

Okay, those sound really nice. Really airy. I wonder how they'd fare under extremely heavy distortion?

That's heavy? Cooooool. Not as much crunch as I'd like, but I dig the tone.
