Hey Pit, leaving tomorrow on vacation and the plane will be long and boring. . .so I have decided to download a movie on iTunes for my ipod. Only problem is: I don't know which one to download.

Parameters of movie:

Must have an inoffensive title - (my mum gets forwarded what I buy )
I should want to watch it more than once -
Obviously I can't have seen it before.

Please help me out guys, and also please no "movies suck listen to music instead...read a book...talk to a girl." I will end up listening to lots of music, reading lots of books, and talking to zero girls.

The Fountain... though it's a bitch to get.
Requiem for a Dream
Clockwork Orange
Blood Diamond
Blade Runner
Kingdom of Heaven (Extended Cut)
A Very Long Engagement (French with subtitles)
Good Will Hunting
The Shining
The Prestige
The Departed
Wall-E
Braveheart
Gladiator

Don't know your taste but yeah... those are the ones I'd have to choose from.

I am legend?

Is that a joke?

Who would want to watch that more than once?

For a long flight, one I also might recommend (and is probably in the top 10 movies of all time) is Amadeus, that flick kicks ASS! >: D

Walk Hard

Funniest. Movie. Ever.

Just saw the trailer for it, I may indeed go with it. . . . although American Psycho is extremely appealing as well.

I don't know guys. This is tough...(and thank you to the guy who gave a list, I really appreciate it, but I have seen most of those great movies already )

Walk Hard may be a feel good, casual kind of movie. But if you really want something thought provoking and will stick with you a while and compel you to watch again, American Psycho can't be beat.

I've also read, and loved, the book, so that's another reason why I would go for AP...however is the movie extremely dark, gruesome, and depressing throughout or does it have its moments of comedy/lightheartedness?

/hopes you know what I mean.

The book is far worse and exaggerated in terms of gore than the movie. The movie is tasteful even in its sick nature. And yes, it has many dark humor moments, which Christian Bale does a great job of bringing out.

YESSS! Also, I forgot Scent of a Woman... it's worth it just for Alpacino's performance. Also, Lord of War, Dr. Strangelove, Silence of the Lambs, and Citizen Kane (a bit slow though, but that's how films were back then).

Haven't seen Superbad, but my mum is familiar with the movie and would probably get pissed. :/

And....bought.

Thank you all very much for your suggestions, I appreciate it all more than you know. And thus I leave you with a Lamborghini Dealership. Divide it amongst yourself as you see fit.

MH400, I want you to know that I gave your kind suggestion every consideration, and while I've already seen the movie, which is a great one, a few times and didn't want to spend money to see it another 10 times, that was an awesome suggestion.

Blue Velvet. That's all I need to say.

EDIT: ARGH, you got American Psycho? It's good, but come on!
