I've had this line 6 spyder 3 15w for almost a year.
I don't like it much at all really.
The only decent setting it has for distortion is insane.
Anyways, recently when i plug up, it makes this loud buzzing noise overpowering any sound i make on my guitar. Anyone have a clue of what this might be?

Also, i plugged my mic in to see if the buzzing was still happening, and the mic works.

What do you mean the mic works? Like, when you plugged it into the input on the amp there was no buzzing like there was when the guitar was plugged in?
Need a website? I can make you one for pretty cheap.

It's probably your cable, if you've got another one try it out. Other than that, maybe it's just packed it in finally.
I've got a 75w Spider III and I love it. It's a great practice amp, cause if you take the time to screw with it a bit you can get a ton of tones out of it.

The hive is angry. You didnt knock the amp over or anything did you?

If there is no buzzing with the mic, I would think it would be either your guitar cable or the jack on your guitar.

I'm begining to think it's my jack on my guitar.
That doesn't make sense that the mic is working, and it's not the cable.
I'm sure i'll figure it out.
Either way, i'm not very impressed with it, but that might just be because turning it to 5 is a risk and i notice the louder it gets the muddier. >.>
