How do the Deliverance and Sig:X compare?

I'm REALLY digging my Deliverance, but the lack of effects loop and the single channel is somewhat bothering me, although it's not a huge deal.

Mostly, I'm concerned with the lead channel and how the Sig:X compares to my Deliverance in the high-gain area. I already know that the Sig has a pristine clean channel, so that's not really a concern of mine.

As I said over on Seven String:
The Sig:X is same amp as the Deliverance, just with more channels and tonal options.

VHT Pittbull UltraLead. Nothing else like it. It has a stellar effects loop too.

I don't think I'll be able to afford an UL anytime soon.

Although I'd LOVE to have one.

VHT and Fryette are basically the same, but the VHT name was acquired by AXL Music through a lawsuit. New VHT is NOT old VHT, but the old VHT models are the same as the new Fryette ones.

I already have a VHT, my Deliverance 120, but I'm considering switching it up for a Sig:X.

It wasn't a lawsuit, that was just a rumour:

Earlier this year, I had consulted with AXL and thoroughly enjoyed the experience of working with another manufacturer. In a surprise move, AXL offered to buy the trademarked VHT brand name and logo. They will now manufacture their own product under that name. The offer to buy was also an opportunity to rebrand the company under my name, says Fryette. All of the original VHT intellectual property, patents, designs, and trade dress have been retained by Steven Fryette Design, Inc.

From what I've read on many pages of threads on SS.org, Steve Fryette defaulted on a loan to AXL and they had decided to file a case against him and in the process, acquired the VHT name, but I suppose that could be all wrong

Although it is possible that the quote (Steve Fryette's, I'm guessing) is just telling about the court case in a less obvious manner...
