Current guitar: Yamaha Pac112J
Current Amp: Roland Cube 30

Budget: Approximately $1,200 CDN

Tone I'm aiming for: Trebly/Bitey(?) tone - Similiar to Jimmy Page's

Guitars I'm considering: Highway One/American Telecaster, Nashville Telecaster, Baja Telecaster
Amp: No idea

Any suggestions would be great

You're looking at the wrong guitars for pages tone. He used Gibsons didn't he? Not a massive Zep fan.

A lot of Page's signature tones came from a tele didn't it?

Not entirely sure about that... just regurgitation from some GW article which I vaguely recall.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

@The_Bosstone:

the tone of SIBLY is definitely a les paul.

(and SIBLY is from Zep III)

He did use a tele on Zep I, but after that it was mostly les paul. His tone was bright, but so are les pauls, especially les pauls with PAFs.

Guitars:
Fender Telecaster
Epiphone Les Paul

Amps:
Peavey Classic 30
Marshall JCM 2000 DSL401 combo (used)

Should get you close, though I would definitely recommend the Marshall over the Peavey and the Telecaster over the Epiphone, Made in Mexico is most likely your best bet price wise though.
