Never found this site before but offers quite a nice selection of songs, all done in browser. To be honest for the purpose of practice, I find this better than any of the programs available.

Only downside is there are pay to use features but they only consist of print, full screen, half time etc. Highly recommend it:

Oh I didn't know you had to pay for guitar pro or power tab...guess it pays off to use private torrent servers

You don't for PowerTab but I find Songsterr better overall, especially not requiring any install. Can also forward/rewind during play which was absent in Powertab last time I used it, really irritating

Cool, just gave it a try. Never knew it could read guitar pro! Glad to see there are still alot of improvements coming in to tab reading software
