new song, i know the grammer sucks sorry!

Saturdays on my deck,
hanging with all our friends.
Those are the days that I look back and say
“Nothing ruined that moment.”
And I don’t want to be upset,
So I’ll tell you everything good about us.

I miss those nights we texted till 3,
and those days we just watched TV.
And we snuck out to kiss in streets
Or the day we made out on my sisters sheets
Just silly kids trying to feel something
Feel something feel anything

Don’t you want that spring back?
Well whatever you’re gone now
You went with her and I can’t stop you
Thought your heart belonged to me
Guess that was a lie too
But who wants to think of the bad
I’m just so tired of being mad.

I miss those nights we texted till 3
And those days we just watched TV
And we snuck out to kiss in streets
Or the day we made out on my sisters sheets
Just silly kids trying to feel something
Feel something feel anything

I saw her today and thought of you
I wonder if she has memories like mine
Does she think of how you kissed her
Or how you made her laugh
Or maybe how you were so convincing
Because that’s all I think of
When I think of that long spring
I turned 16 and learned some things
But I will always remember

I miss those nights we texted till 3
And those days we just watched TV
And we snuck out to kiss in the streets
Or the day we made out on my sister’s sheets
Just silly kids trying to feel something
Feel something feel anything

Just silly kids trying to feel something
Feel something feel anything (x4)

Thats good. Honestly better than any lyrics or poetry I've written. Seems like you're writing from experience.
They say that in the army, the food is mighty fine.
The chicken jumped off the table and killed a friend of mine.

Oh lord, I want to go home.
But they won't let me go-o
Ho-oho-ohohahohohome. Hey!

It sounds like it would be a bit too poppy for my tastes, but lyrically its not too bad. I can really feel the nostalgia. I'd watch out for terms like 'texting' however. It really dates the song automatically. Texting is a more recent phenomenon, and who knows if the term will carry far into the future, especially when there's a lot of other phrases that would fit and convey the same meaning. Think of any songs that referred to pagers just a few years ago. Anyway, keep writing.
