Im learning the sweeping section of selkies by btbam and theres a part where there is two 14's right next to eachother i dont know if i should bend my finger and hit them at the same time which sounds sloppy as hell or what?
here is what the figure looks like, its the two 14's that confuse me, what fingers should i use for this whole sweep?

|---------------------------12---------------------------------12-
|------------------------------13---------------------------13----------
|---------------------------------14---------------------14---------------

Well I don't know about solos but how about that Smoke on the Water riff. It's like...impossible.

you "roll" your ring finger on both strings, ie. the tip of your finger hits the 4th string and the part near the knuckle hits the 3rd string.

so it would go
first finger
2nd finger
lower 3rd finger
tip of 3rd finger
fourth-first
then reverse.

yes, it takes a bit of getting used to but once you do it, it's pretty simple

its the basic Am arp (with the A on the 5th string ommited) there`s loads of vids on youtube that show this sweep but as said roll your 3rd finger

One finger per fret i.e., index for all the 12th fret notes, middle for all the 13th fret notes, ring for all the 14th fret notes (roll the finger), and pinky for all the 15th fret notes.
Now this is just specifically for that sweep and any ones like it. Some sweeps you have to use one finger for more than one fret and move it around (like No Boundaries).

No boundaries is such a fun song to play and get your sweeping up, and it got me outta the basic 5 string minor and major sweeps.
