I have a 2003 BC Rich Body Art Collection Ironbird and it keeps buzzing! I've tested with different leads and guitars and have come to the conclusion that it is in fact my guitar that is making the buzzing noise. The buzzing only stops if I hold onto the metal bit of the lead (not the actual jack), can someone please tell me whats wrong and how to fix it? Thanks (:

Your guitar needs to be earthed
- Ibanez S470 (2004)
- late 70's vintage Fender Stratocaster (USA)
- VOX VT100 Amp
- Digitech Whammy Pedal
- Weeping Demon Wah Pedal
- Visual Sound Volume Pedal
- MXR Micro Amp

It would appear that something is not grounded or earthed or that the ground has simply come loose, check the solder joins on your electronics and on the input jack

yeah just look for obvious things like a loose wire on the input jack and if you can't fix the problem get someone who knows what they are doing to have a look at it
