i just bought an awesome amp. im not a big fan of guessing games but here ya go. the last pic is a half power switch. i did buy this amp used and the guy before me (who is awesome by the way) had that added in. it is a Marshall JMP 2203. there are a few minor dings but all cosmetic. i love this amp to death with a 4x12 25 watt greenbacks. it is the balls! this thing is so loud. i will definitley post more pics on new cab day!

mines also a 1980 . congrats on yours. i hope you love it as much as i love mine. this thing is a huge beast. new cab day should be friday i think. i really want to get a used 4x12 with 25 watt celestions. those really bring out "the" tone from this amp. i dont think i'll mod it for those of you that were wondering. i absolutely love it as it is. thanks for all the HNAD's!

Fuzz...It's wonderful and horrible and beautiful and repulsive and so many things all at once.

Gratz man. 2203's are great amps. Watch you don't crank it, if biased properly it'll be peaking upwards of 150 watts and you have 100 watts in that cab. You see so many greenback destroyed by plexies it's not funny, that's why they use to have twin stacks.

^ i was thinking that too. also if you think greenbacks bring out the awsomeness you should try it with a celestion blues. seriously that makes even jesus cry.

HNAD it looks great. Not a big fan of marshall tone but they make some great amps.

best NAD i've ever seen on this site. ****ing awesome. HNAD!

thanks! and for those of you who think that the 100 watt cab wont be enough, my logic is that i probably will never even use all 100 watts. thats like ear bleeding, deafness, neighbors gonna call the cops on you loud. so i doubt i will ever push the cab too hard
#22
you should load your photos to photobucket or imageshack and reload those so we can see better and then put this in my NAD Collection Thread

^you may not think you'll ever play to 100 watts but:
1. I think you will be surprised
2. What if you got a loud pop from something etc - you know unintentionally?

nice!

you might want to look into a 412 cab with greenbacks and maybe g12h30s or something in a pattern.

Even if you're not a fan of Marshall, this is one pretty sick amp
