I was wondering how beneficial a treble bleed mod would be for my guitar. I'm constantly cranking up the tone knob on my guitar whenever I lower the volume on my pickup, it can really get very dull and tone-less sound when I lower the volume on it. It becomes a bit of a hassle. Are there any disadvantages from this mod? I've tried to look everywhere to find if at full volume the sound would sound as if there was no mod, only when the volume is turned down is when the mod actually kicks in right? Has anyone else done this?

I think you posted this over at AGF too right?

Well, the treble bleed mod adds a capacitor so when you turn down the volume it bypasses some higher frequencies. At full volume it doe nothing.
