Yeah, just a quick question....
I'm planning on using my Ashdown 4x10 basscab together with my new Blackheart 5W Head. So, the cab runs at 8ohms, and the head operates at 4/8/16 ohms. It shouldn't be harder than plug and play, right?

Thanks

You're good bro. Just make sure you use the 8 ohms output on the head. Well, you can use the 16 too if I remember right. Just as long as you don't go lower ohms to higher ohms.

Thanks mate, then it was as I expected
Oh, and if I decide to go 16-8, i would get lower volumes but maintain the cranked tone, yes?

Not that I know of no.

If you want low volumes and the amp's cranked tone, you're gonna need an attenuator

Just figured that double the resistance - half the power flowing to the speakers...
