Hello everybody... I am new just wanted to say hello before I start.

Now, Im very interested in getting an epiphone les paul custom. I have a pretty small budget so I searched craigslist and found this: http://honolulu.craigslist.org/oah/msg/1494077142.html

It is very cheap compared to ones that go on ebay... is it legit do you think? If so im probably going to hop on it.

Hope to hear from you guys.

Pics are tiny, ask him for some high res shots. There's no way to tell if its a fake from those shitty ones.

Yea, Ill do that too... I just want to be sure... but how can i tell the difference between fake and a real one?

if they are pics that you can see real life stuff like a garage work bench or something or a couch or carpeting, they are real, but on a bunch of sheets, he just got those off google images or something...

Read up on how to spot a fake Epiphone (Google it) and go check out the guitar in person.

Who knows, maybe it's legit and plays like crap?

get a pic of the serial number and then google epiphone serial number checker.
