Arguably no other genre of music has artwork as cool as metal albums, logos, and posters. It is important in the metal culture and you can sometimes tell what the band sounds like just by looking at the logo or album art.

So, UG metal forum, post your favorite Picasso-worthy pieces!

The point of underground bands is their not popular or famous most of the time. Thus there is a good chance they suck.

Hmm judging from your pic you'd fit in more with a fat busted tribute.

Metal is a sub-genre of metalcore since metalcore is more popular therefore better.

1. I've heard some complaints about it, but I think it's a phenomenal cover. Very introspective.

2. Horrible album, the cover art on the other hand is pretty cool

3. I'm not even gonna bother describing.

4. Esoteric, in their early years. Optical geometrical illusions are awesome.

5. Further on the trippy theme...

6. Just a nice cover.

7. Because it's gr1m.

8. Because it's also gr1m.

9. And finally, a tribute to nice photography.

Very eerie, foreboding... yet somehow enticing.

It just makes you say..."what the hell?"
Plus it's creepy as all hell.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.

What album is this?

Trist - Slunce v snovém kraji, rozplývání, echa...

even though it's a dark ambient album, the band's other output is metal, so I figured it can be counted.

The album itself isn't that good, with only two or three memorable songs, but the album cover is a whole other thing.

Après avoir crevé par accès de furie
Ta replète panse d'helminthes blancs nourrie,
Trop prompte à déféquer le fruit d'un vit sanieux.
