I mostly play electric so I don't really worry too much about my acoustic strings as long as they're there, but I'm not happy with the strings I've got now. I can't remember the brand though. I really want strings that give a nice thick blues sound (obviously I'll be going with .10's or .11's), but I also want them to have a nice ring to them when I fingerpick. Any suggestions?
I personally use D'Addario EXP16 Coated Phosphor Bronze Light Acoustic Guitar Strings because I got them for about $5 a pack when there was an awesome sale a while back. They have lasted pretty nicely. They feel a little weird when you fingerpick because of the texture though. Otherwise I use D'Addario EJ16 Phosphor Bronze Light Guitar Strings which have been good to me. I can't say if its good for blues though, since strings vary depending on the guitar. Figured I'd just suggest what I use and some other people use.
