Hello. Can anyone please help me understand how to construct a chord? If i see in a chord book that i have to play b/g or something like that, is there a way i can know how to make that chord without looking it up? I don't know if this makes sense
Its a slash chord - the bit before the slash is the chord, the bit after the slash is the bass note - so D/G means D Maj with a G in the bass - so find an A or C shaped D chord and stick a G in the bass and you're sorted.
u can also play the regular shaped D chord and use your thumb for the bass note
Oh, hectic! Hectic! That's awesome thanks that's exactly what i wanted!
