So basically I need an amp that can dish out some wonderful tone even at louder volumes. I was thinking tube, but all my experience is with SS so I need input.

My price range is around 500 USD, give or take. I play everything from Blues to Metal, albeit generally sticking to Blues and Punk. And do not suggest the Vypyr or the Frontman. Thanks in advance.

P.S. Please don't suggest Raven either.
B-52's where its at. I've got the AT-100 head and its sweet. you'd probably wanna go the combo route though, still great though.

It's not sexist, girls are just too stupid and weak to hold up doors and stuff for themselves.
Peavey classic 30 would be great, would need a boost for metal though

Blackheart handsome devil would also work, but would need a boost for metal

The Kustom Defender would be good too, as well as a used crate v series
Gibson SG Special Faded
Marshall JCM2000 DSL 401

I'd go used. Maybe a Peavey Valveking or a Classic with a dirt pedal.

If you are lucky and patient you might be able to score a Peavey Ultra or Ultra Plus and a cheap 1x12, 2x12 or 4x12 cab for that price.
Mesa Rev. G Triple Rectifier
Mesa Series II Single Rectifier
Mesa Stage 1 Stiletto Deuce
Marhshall DSL 100w
Fender '67 Bassman
Fender Roc Pro 1000 (x2)
Fender Hotrod Deluxe
Roland JC-120
Blackstar HT-5H
Jet City JCA20H
Crate GX-15
I've heard very good things about both the Valveking and the Classic, sounds like they're right up my alley
used Marshall JCM 800/900 combo (Better chances with the 900, but I've seen some crazy deals on CL)
used Peavey Classic 30
