Just a question.
Say in the Champions league playoff, what happens if one team wins say 5-0, and then forfeits the return leg? Can they do that?
I mean a forfeit is usually a 3-0 loss right? So if you win 5-0 and forfeit the return leg, can't you go through?

Just Curious

fine in reality it would never happen.
Fans would go ape shit and most wouldnt return to see them play again. It'll be on telly, then the tv company would pull their money out. The board would sack the coach for forfeiting. The team who forfeit would be kicked out of the cup unless your man u, barcelona, real madrid etc because sepp blatter/ michel platini are cheats like that

I reckon it doesnt happen coz how often do playoffs end with 4-0 or 5-0 result? And if you can cane them 5-0, then put out your jnr squad and give them experience in the return leg.
But I just thought you can totally do it regardless of ethics or not, it's possible.

theirs no such thing as a play off in the champions league anyways

Ok Mr Know-it-all

1. It's "There's" no such thing as a play off. That means "There is". "Their's" implies ownership. And while I'm at it, "They're" means "They are".

Read the VERY first line.

So you might wanna relax a bit.
