Hey guys, i want a new distortion pedal and i dont know which one i should choose... I had a mega distortion and it really was crappy, so i want another one, i have an alexi LTD 200 and a roland cube 30x, playing stuff like necrophagist and carcass, right now the main list is:

1.- Boss heavy metal
2.-zoom 606
3.- Boss metal zone
4.- Ibañez metal charger

By the way sorry for my bad english i am mexican

Compared to many others, your English is pretty good.

I wouldn't worry about a distortion pedal, if you can't get the sound you want from the Cube then maybe it's time for a new amp. If you desperately want a pedal, none of those are great, the Blackstar Dist-X and EHX Metal Muff are probably your best options.

Your cube should have built in distortion that is likely better sounding than any of those choices.
Bogner Ecstasy 101b
Sampson Era Bad Cat Black Cat 30R
1993 Mesa Dual Rectifier
Gibson Les Paul Custom (ebony)
Gibson SG Faded (brown)
Rickenbacker 650D
Eventide Timefactor
Diamond Memory Lane 2
Keeley Compressor (2 knob)
Korg Pitchblack

Don't waste your money... put it towards something more beneficial to world peace... like an amp with epic tones.

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.
