How do classical guitarists fingerpick those runs that consist of multiple notes played quickly on the same string, do they use one i, m, or a (from PIMA) finger that is just trained to move very fast, or multiple fingers on one string continuously.

EX. these notes played as 16th notes at a high bpm

e--------------------------------- 5 8 10 12 10 13 10 12--------------------------
B12 13 14 12 10 8 12 10 8--------------------------------------------------------
G-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
D-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
E-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So basically he's using picking fingers 1 2 and 3 ( I M A) and playing the notes almost like a bass player would (if that's an awful reference sorry lol)
