hey bros, I'm just wondering how to get a good hard rock sound out of my Peavy, I'm not really succeeding getting good settings.

If you want a classic hard rock sound, goon the lead channel, set the mode to "classic", the pre-gain somewhere between 5 and 8, boost the mids and highs a bit, and set the post gain as loud as you want to go. This should give you a fairly appropriate sound, and you can fine-tune the EQ to your liking if you don't like the tone you get from these settings.
