Hey guys and gals!
Its my birthday in a few days and im going to London tomorrow so my dad is going to pick up a guitar for me for my birthday!! *big smile!*.

I play mainly metal , and have a choice between 2 esps.

1) LTD EC-256 - http://www.dv247.com/guitars/esp-guitars-ec-256-electric-guitar-aged-black--66731

2) LTD H100 FM - http://www.richtonemusic.co.uk/guitars-1/electric-guitars-2/esp-ltd-h-101fm-electric-guitar-asb-finish-1035.html?zenid=79b3cfc64331a855a24724b6915b0d29

Which would you choose if you were in my position ?

PS. One more question , they can both be fitted with better pickups in the future right?

Regards , Zoof.

EC-256. I've played one in GC, and I loved it. Granted that the EC-400VF is really my thing, the EC-256 is great for a less-expensive model.

And yes, you can swap out the pickups.

depends on how you define metal. i'd say the H101, only because i cant see a thin U neck on a singlecut...

and yes, all electronics can and should be changed once you're ready.
you know, ive owned 8 different guitars over my lifetime, and right now i have 3. i wanna know what the hell happened...i mean the picks and cables are understandable, they disappear into thin air all the time, but guitars?

Stuff like Metallica , Lamb of God esp

Nothing extreme.

EC-256, then. It's great for that heavy riffing and stuff.
