Hi, I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this so sorry if it isn't.

Anyway, when I change twist the volume knob on my guitar to go to a different volume, no sound (or very little sound) comes out of the amp. I have to put it in the exact right position (which is around the 9) in order for sound to come out. I've been playing guitar for a few years now, but I don't know what could be causing it which is rather embarassing

I know hardly anything about the parts of a guitar really so I'm kind of iffy about googling it in a half-decent attempt to mess about with the parts of my guitar. So I thought I'd ask you guys instead, seems more reliable.

Any ideas what could be causing it? Thanks in advance!

ask in GB&C they should be able to give a better answer.

My only guess, which is a guess, is a bad pot.

OK, thanks I'll ask over there. Should I just copy my original post and make a new thread there then? Sorry, a noob question

Never mind, I just looked at GB&C and they have lots of stuff that could help.
