Too busy rockin out

I've owned all ENGL amps (Save the SE, but I played one), and I must say this one takes the cake for sheer bruality Honestly, it shouldn't be called Fireball anything..it sounds totally diff from the FB60 I had. BTW it sounds AMAZING through the G12K-100 loaded Mills.

Going to get a live stereo setup goin with the axe sometime soon.

Totally different imo. Thicker, more percussive, smoother, WAY more girthy low-midrange..and darker. ****ing amazing for modern heavy shit

it's so cool to hate Gibson, even the federal Department of Justice hates them.

Sick! I've wanted to try a Fireball for a long time, guess I'll have to wait for a 100 instead

I've had tube amps for a while now, but never actually had any go down on me

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Very cool, I played a FB60, but found it somewhat synthetic sounding. Still good though.
Is is really necessary to have your FB100's gain on 9 though?

Give the notoriety of ENGLs and their gain, you'd think it'd be wayyyyyy overkill, but I assure you, even I was surprised at how well the gain held together through the whole sweep of this amp. After about 1 o clock, it starts to sag and compress nicely, but it still retains clarity. After 4 o clock it mushes out...

Cool, I believe that. The gain on these amps stay very clear and articulate when set high.
Are you able to post clips at all? I'd love to hear this setup.

Great new amp, dude. It looks sick. I've never gotten to try an Engl and I always have wanted to.

There's so many amps to try! So many to buy!
