i'm playing with some GHS .10-60's

and on my e string, when i'm tuned to drop c, makes clicking noises in the middle of the fret board. like no ringing. just clicking. but on the low and high parts, they do ring.

this hasn't happened before, do i need a thicker high E string or what?

You might, because of the real low tuning dropping the tenion of your string to te point of it resting along your fretboard, or you could take it to a shop , or someone who knows guitars really good and see if you can adjust your neck to play in a lower tuning and still manage to sound good in you reg tuning

can get away with 10's in drop c... it's not ideal, try raising the action a little bit
