Hey everybody, we're Shapes of Grey from Renfrew, Ontario (Canada). We've been together for about a year and a half now, and have just released our first EP, called Trial and Tribulation. It was recorded in Calabogie, at a place called Cronus Sound Productions.
You can check the tracks out at www.myspace.com/shapesofgrey

For those interested, we'll be playing at Maverick's in Ottawa Ontario on August 11th, we'd love to have the support of some fellow UGers!

The Hardrock "porphyry" of the Little Long Lac gold mining district of northwestern Ontario is a rock of considerable economic interest in that area, as some of the ore deposits worked in two of the leading mines--the Hardrock and the MacLeod Cockshutt--are definitely connected with it. It is of puzzling and anomalous character and diverse opinions have been held at different times as to its nature and origin. The writer, however, as the result of recent studies, has come to the conclusion that it is an arkose and part of the general assemblage of sedimentary rocks of the district.

Hey guys i really like your stuff.
The singer has a great voice, the tone of the clean rhythm guitar is really good aswell on Star Cross'd, that's my favourite of your songs.
Good job, keep it up and hope to hear more soon.
