Lately I've been very interested in putting a Kaoss Pad into my guitar. My G-400 seems like a perfect candidate to do this to, but it was my first guitar and cannot bring myself to cut a giant hole in the middle. So I'm looking for a cheap ($300 or less) guitar that would be good to put a Kaoss pad in.
all I ever wanted was to pick apart the day
put the pieces back together my way

why go through the ball-ache of buying a guitar and routing it when you could just fasten the kaoss pad to a mic stand...............or just tape it to the body you already have

oh you wanna be like matt bellamy

A G-400 costs 300 dollars. It might be a bit too shallow to mount a kaoss pad into, though. Have a look at cheap ibanez hardtail RG's. They have flat tops, enough space to mount a kaoss pad and, well, they're cheap.
