Hey Everyone. Just bought a Peavey Classic 50 2x12 and a Peavey VTM 60 for $450 today. The Classic didn't come with a footswitch. I have an old marshall single stomp footswitch laying around - will that work with it or do i need to find a double button switch - and am I limited on what I can get or can I get any switch from any company?

Thanks!

I think the single one should work...if its the right jack size. Wouldn't hurt to try...

thats a pretty good deal for both amps btw

if the single one doesn't work, Vox makes a really good 2 button that works just fine, and is reasonably inexpensive.

my old peavey classic (sold) had a two button footswitch, they had a bad habit of breaking down after a couple years.
Seen 'em on eb@y for cheap, just keep an eye out.

Peace.
