Pedal tuner newbie question:

I am planning to get a electric guitar tuner (deciding between Korg Pitchblack and Boss Tu-3).

When I plug in the tuner to the tuner-out on my amp, can I still tune by muting the amp?

^ This is how I roll.

The whole point of buying a Pitchblack in the first place is the true bypass so you might as well just throw it first in the effects chain. Besides, then you can use it as a kill switch if you want.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

I have a Roland Cube 60

The PB is more accurate IIRC. Additionally, the point of a pedal tuner like the PB is that they mute the input signal when engaged and are true bypass when not engaged.

edit: the BOSS bypass is not so good, by the way.
