I'm getting a new guitar and I am wondering what you recommend. I am looking for a good tone and I want some good squealies or pinch harmonics. I am looking into a budget of $400 - $800 anywhere within that price range. I have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard already so give me your suggestions. I also like playing metal, virtuoso, and music like that. Please help. (I would like for it to have a whammy bar)

The vt is a pretty good amp but I don't think it's that suitable for metal.
Are you buying it new or used?
If you're not dead set on the VT I can reccomend you something better.
What kind of metal do you play?

Any guitar should be able to give you pinch harmonics. I did them with pedal distortion alone with single coils in my ocd demo.
Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

Feel free to express yours so I can make an informed judgement about how stupid you are.

Well guitar wise you might want to check out an RG or the new S series with 24 frets., don't know when the new S series come out but they should be worth the wait.

How mouch are you willing to spend on the amp?

I would just hold off on the guitar untill you get a better amp.

Assuming your going to spend that money on an amp now, some amps I'd check out would be:

Randall Rm20
Carvin x100b, i think vai actually used this amp
Peavey 6505+
Peavey XXX
Bugera 1990
Bugera 6262
Bugera 333xl

I have an Ibanez Rg, but at that price range I don't recommend one. They have bad pickups and a terrible stock bridge. I would personally say that you should look into Schecter C-1 series. They have a wide range of really good hard rock/metal guitar with amazing value.
