OK, im looking for an all tube combo at the moment and ive heard a lot of great things about the 6262 head but is the 212 combo as good as the stack and if not, is it far off?

Thanks

You can buy whatever guitar you want, you don't have to be at a certain skill level to buy one. This is real life, not some guitar-playing RPG where you have to unlock new guitars.

Thanks! I'll keep these in mind if i get a 5150/6505 or 6262. Would these be too loud to play in a household setting even with a 2x12 cab?

Avatar is the best 2x12 speaker company, if not the best speaker company period.

It's a completely custom shop, allowing you to pick the cover, the grille, the speakers, and the casing.

Of course, you can also buy used ones. But a really good quality speaker 2x12 will run you at most 300USD.

the only big difference in the 6262 combo vs the head. is that the combos are open back amps and you loose a bit of lowend useing open back amps/cabs since sound escapes out the back of the amp..the combos still sound damn good, but its not as "lowend focused" as using a head and a closed back cab. much tighter. i have owned the 2x12 combo before, then i went with the 6262 head and sold the 6262 combo
