I recently bought a Fender Deluxe Reverb Reissue and love the clean sound , but I am in need of an overdrive pedal. I play blues/rock. What pedal would you guys recommend? I'm looking to spend around 150$.

tube screamer or an ocd

edit: the bbe green screamer would be a good choice as well

Worst? I don't know. My buddies old MG 10 until we turned it into a cup holder and ash tray.

What kind of sounds are you looking for? Tubescreamer-ish sounds or something different?

Anything from light blues to classic rock.

MXR gt-od

Well I don't know how much they are in the US actually. Ah well, take a look anyway. Works great on top of half distorted tones, can thicken them up or make them just a bit thinner/spankier. Can also produce some nice smooth overdrives for lead and stuff, or crank the gain for some vintage rock tones. Works well over alot of stuff, I really like mine.

Maybe the price tag is clouding your judgment ?

The OCD is overhyped or at least V4 IMO

Don't buy an OD808. The new ones have board-mounted pots and jacks, which = no.

The OD9 modded to 808 specs is a better choice.

Are you a v2 fan?

I actually prefer the v4 TBH.

I would say either an Fulltone OCD or a Boss BD-2, the BD-2 is made for blues but i've heard you can push them to get a good rockish tone out of it.
