I got an old Memphis bass with a 30" neck. I was wondering if it was possible to put a 34" P-bass neck on it. If not, I need to know were I can get a cheap 30" scale bass neck.

You probably could but you need to make sure the neck will fit the neck pocket, that's probably your major concern.

thats one of the concerns, but the major concern is that the intonation will probably be messed up with a different scale length.

if the distance from the neck pocket to bridge is intended to be the same on both basses, you're good.
not sure how likely that is, though

just remember your basic rule, the measurement from the nut to the center of the 12th fret must be equal to the distance from 12th fret to the bridge
