Well christmas is coming up and might as well use it as an excuse for some pedals.
Any body wanna manage my list?

List:
Digitech Whammy pedal
Some fuzz pedal
Some distortion pedal
EQ pedal (have no middle setting on amp)

So anybody wanna help me choose pedals?

Music I play, I play rock, metal, alot of blues, and getting into funk. I want the LoG tone for distortion. People on UG said I needed a Eq pedal instead of Distortion.
I'm not sure about the Fuzz pedal, Maybe fuzzface, or big muff? I don't know.

I don't wanna spend most of the christmas money, but don't want cheap gear.

Feel free to ask questions and I'll check up on the thread alot.

I strongly reccomend a good delay pedal. IMO, it's one of the most useful pedals you can buy.

Buget? Maybe under 700? My parents are both working. My dad gets like a 1000 a week because he's making a road or something. My just got a raise. So yeah...

My sisters asking for a flatscreen, 360, and some other expensive shit. So I might as well try asking alot too.

don't get the Digitech Whammy. seriously. they get boring in about 1 month. it also takes up a big chunk of christmas change.

with that money freed up, you could get:
A Musket Fuzz and a Danelectro CC Distortion
A Way Huge Swollen Pickle with a Coffin Case Blood Drive
An Analogman DS1 Pro and a Big Muff Pi W/tone wicker.
A Dano CC Fuzz with a Way Huge Fat Sandwich

as far as EQ pedals go, i really only know MXR, Boss and Danelectro's Fish n' Chips.

I posted this in another thrad:

Remember, opinions are like rectums, everyone has them and they all stink.

First tier
1) Tube Screamer
2) Big Muff
3) Crybaby
4) Pitchblack

Second tier
1) some kind of delay
2) Boosta Grande
3) some kind of EQ
4) Small Clone / Boss CH-1 OR some kind of flanger
5) Holy Grail

Tier, the third
1) some octave pedal
2) some compressor pedal
3) some volume pedal
4) some a/b/y

fuzz: muff with tone wicker (approx $90US)
Dist: proco rat (approx $80US)
EQ: MXR 6-band (i think 10 is more than necessary)

If you play live often or record then i would also completely recommend an aphex punch factory optical compressor, gives you such a better tone and you cut through the mix like crazy, seriously useful
