Hey im looking to buy a new guitar and was wondering if people could help me.
im looking for something with a thin neck and fast fretboard thats good for shredding and playing metal. preferably have a floyd rose. Dont care about the guitars shape aslong as it plays well.
budget no more than 700 pounds

Thank you

Do you have any preferences to body shape, wood types, etc...you have a decent budget.

do you actually need a floyd rose or can it be an edge.. cause i'd recommend an ibanez of some sort.

also metal is a very broad range.. what bands specifically.. just name a few..

also i'd suggest maybe an esp LTD of some sort

get out to the shops, spends a few days there if you have to
try Ibanez prestige models (the 1570 and the 2550 should be in your price range)
prehaps shecter, though their necks are a bit chucky, you have all the hellraiser models and the blackjack atx models
esp/ltd?

why are you still reading this??? get out there now!!!!!!

Crickets have too much high end for my tastes. I prefer a nice beetle, lots of warm low end.

tl;dr put a beetle in your amp for superior toanz.

Ibanez RG1570 can be had for around 600 pounds nowadays so you'd be crazy not to pick one up right now.
