Pretty new to the forums and I've checked the forum categories and i couldn't work out where to put this. Due to limited practice time (work+college etc) i wanted you guys to give me a heads up on what to practice/learn next.

(If this sort of thread topic pisses people off feel free to let me know )

What i Know:
Basic theory
many songs i like (stairway to heaven/hotel california level of difficulty)
Pentatonic scale
One form of both major and minor scales ( i've heard there are six )
Most playing techniques (hammer ons, pull offs, bending, tapping etc.)

I find that my improvisations aren't well developed (mainly depending on pentatonics) and that there seems to be a massive gap between the songs i can play and harder songs. Can anyone tell me what i need to learn next to improve my playing?
