I was thinking of trading my Peavey Vypyr 30 and Sanpera II pedal + some cash for a Vox VT30 and the VFS5 foot pedal. I will lose the pitch shifter/wah and the looper effects if I get rid of the Peavey. Has anyone done this? There is nothing wrong with my Peavey I just dont like how some of the effects are setup. Theres a lot of tapping switches to go from clean to scooped metal distortion. Its a PITA to program the unused banks. I want an amp that can go from clean to distortion without alot of tap dancing. I briefly owned a Line 6 Spider 3....those are out of the question. Has anyone owned both the Vox and the Peavey? Thoughts? Problems?
My Gear:

Jackson Performer 6
Peavey Vypyr 30
Sanpera II

im in the process of obtaining the vypyr 30, id keep it. great amp for what it is, as for the sanpera 2, it makes a good amp sound better. IMO.

The Vypyr can do that. Program your presets.

You CAN play anything with anything....but some guitars sound right for some things, and not for others. Single coils sound retarded for metal, though those who are apeshit about harpsichord probably beg to differ.
