How do they play? I'm thinking of getting one for my brother who's just learning to play. He's shown some interest in them.

yeh it's the old x50 i'm pretty sure... washburn guitars, they aren't to popular.. but they play unbelievably great.. i have a WI14 and it's just a beginner guitar but it's pretty sweet.. I would definetly recommend that guitar for a starter guitar, allthough the new ones aren't cheap.. unless ebay has em cheap.. They are also a great guitar for all styles of music... really good for metal.. the new ones have emgs in em which wouldn't be to versitile but if yeh can find him an older one.. get it

I've been looking at some pics of X50-s, and their bridge seems to be different from this. Did they ever change which bridge they used?
