When I arpeggiate chords I can pick out the notes one by one with my index and middle finger, sweep using my thumb or do classical tremolo. Which method is fastest?

I guess it all depends on your technique and the sound you want...seems to me like when i sweep with my thumb it has less of a conitnuous sound than when i use my index and mid-finger.

However if you use a pick its like using your thumb, but then again it seems like you're a classical guitar player. For me the fastest is both finger

I don't know you tell us which one you can do the fastest. However, if you are proficient at all of those techniques then you can probably sweep the fastest.

if done correctly using one finger per string is always going to be fastest.

(rasgueado? I don't know classical...)
