I was just watching this drum cover and found it interesting that while his drumming is very accurate and professional, he did a bunch of childish things (the faces) along the way.

Can any one relate?
R.I.P. Ronnie James Dio. Supplied amazing music to both me and my mother.

He will be missed.

He's just having fun? Adding a little flair? Making it a bit more theatrical?

Do you want me to go on?

How exactly is that childish? His drumming is great but he's not up himself about it and is mucking around and having fun. Would you rather him scowling or trying look like some over-serious "rock star"?

Holy Crap.

I love you more than life itself.

I think he meant childish in a playful, fun-loving way... or that's the way I saw it. If TS meant it with a negative connotation... then no, it's just fun, not stupidity.

Nah, like the guy below you said, I meant that fun-type childish. Not exactly immature or anything, but that kid-like thing about certain musicians. I'm not flaming him or anything, it's just something I noticed.

Well, it's true. They (Adam and Jamie) are both qualified engineers and special effects experts, but they do all sorts of weird stuff, and if it doesn't work they blow it up.

If a kid of 12 had a ton of resources at his disposal, along with some mad engineering skillz, they'd do the same.

Is what that reminds me of. Makes it more interesting to watch. Seeing so many rigid youtube guitarists and bassists gets old after a while. Good to see some people that can have fun and actually look it
