My same grandfather from the Dobro thread bought this Gibson J45 new in 1947. I don't know how many years ago it was that he did the refinish on it for playability reasons but it sounds like no other acoustic I've ever heard. He gave it to me as a Christmas present one year, which floored me. Enjoy.

wow, that thing is awesome! i can't decide if i like or hate the headstock though. it's refinished and matches the body now which is cool, but it also doesn't say gibson anymore haha

very cool guitar! i almost bought a '92 J-45 that was in awful shape a while back. glad i didn't, i wouldn't have been able to restore it to great condition.

It sounds good, it plays great, it's cheap as hell, why not? I don't care if it's made out of cardboard as long as it does what I need it to.
