Pros and cons on this pedal?
For metal, more like thrash/speed.
Have an Epi SG, Marshall MG15.
I know the gear isn't the best, but the pedal is what I can get.

if you get an eq and put it before those it should make a difference but those two alone with that amp wont sound good at all.

OK... you play metal. If you're on a 600 dollar budget, check out Randall - I've heard good things about those. Also: Peavey Vypyr 60, Peavey 6505+ 112 combo, Bugera 6262/333xl combo (those last 2 may be a bit loud for you, but they work fine at bedroom volume anyway)
