Well people of GG&A. I need help EQing my new hardwire TL-2.
It just came in the mail like 30 minutes ago and im having trouble getting it to sound decent.
Any advice?
Im running it through a Fender Twin Reverb amp and I want it to sound like Megadeth-ish tones. Or atleast as close as possible. It just sounds really nasaly right now and it has so many settings I dont know where to start.

Help please?

it doesn't do any good to have US do the work for ya bro, besides-what WE might think is a good Megadeth tone might sound like crap to you...

make sure your amp's EQ isn't making the tone the way it is, sometimes that happens

Ha, It has Loose and Tight. I keep it on Tight.
The settings:
Level
High
Low
Mid
Gain
And Frequency
Frequency seems to be the hardest to set right.

well the pedal just needs to accent your Twin's settings, rather than drastically change them (other than the gain of course). but i'd definitely try to have 2 o clock mids with 3 o clock highs and bass at noon. gain at 2 o clock or so. that's where i'd work from, but i haven't played that pedal tbh

Ha those settings sound horrible. =p
Should i have humbuckers on or single coil?
My guitar has a switch for both..

lmao my bad dude! well like i said, settings for other pedals and people don't always transfer over so nicely...hmmm...it'll sound better on your bridge humbucker for sure, just b/c the tone is nice full and thick, single coils aren't going to do Megadeth nearly as good.

level - 9 oclock
mid - 1 oclock
frequency - 2 oclock
gain - full.
