So, to play Metal which one of the would you recommend?
The only one I could try out was the Vypyr, and it isn´t great...

Line 6 is a big no.

So that leaves you with a Vypyr and a VT. I vote VT, I'm a fan of vox, but one of the Vypyr's has more tubes than others and is a great tone machine, not sure if it's the 75 or not.

But then going to your metal request....still a tough call.

please, take a second and look over these questions.

1.) What is your budget?
2.) What genres are you playing [anything besides metal?]?
3.) Are you gigging?
4.) Are you willing to go used?

looking at the prices of these amps your budget is about $300-400 right?

well for metal the vypyr is good. Which guitar u tried it with? The vox is nice but not the best for metal and the line6 should get u good tones but not as good as the vypyr. I'm a big vox fan but I think the vypyr should be the best. What didnt u like about it?

I tried it with mine..Jackson WRXT..the tones I got were n´t superior to my actual rig (Mg30+Mt-2---I know everybody hates both of them, but together and with a lot of tweeking I found one great metal tone)

the tones of the vypyr werent better than the mg with an mt2? Dude get ur ear trained first just kiddin dude. Well how long did u play the vypyr? U need to tweak it to get nice tones out of it.

And u can save some more and get something used. U can get a nice used amp for the price of the amps u posted

The Vypyr is basically the best amp for metal out of those.

Probably you don't know how to tweak it properly.
