I got a ESP ltd m400 not too long ago, and its supposed to have a floyd Rose tremolo. But with the bridge it has now, its black (not silver) and does not have the 'Floyd Rose' name on it. Does this mean its not a Floyd rose?

It should say "Licensed by Floyd Rose" somewhere on it. What you have is a licensed floyd rose bridge, meaning it's the brand name "original" floyd rose, but instead ESP was licensed to make it's own (or maybe floyd rose makes them?), cheaper version of that bridge.

what you have is called a Floyd Rose Special. it's an LFR, not an original.

you're not gonna want to take a dump in a gross, off-colored, vintage toilet. you want something that is white and pearly; something that shines. something that you can put your cheeks against and say, "f*** yeah"
