My bassist has this exact cabinet

http://bass-guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Acoustic-B115-250w-1x15-Bass-Cabinet?sku=600776

I enjoy the bass response he gets from it.
how would a guitar amp sound through a cabinet made for bass? I'm in the postion to buy a cab at the moment, And I can't try my bassist's cab out.

Btw I play a lot of metal, Mostly thrash and melo death.

I have a basic knowledge of ohms and whatnot.

I was just wondering due to the fact that I've never seen it done before.

i do that. peavey express 112 into a peavey 1x15 cab. i turn on the bright switch on the amp and it sounds incredible. the bright makes it not as bassy, but way more deep sounding.

I'd say they sound pretty dang good through things meant for a bass.
