I am thinking about getting the hartke 3500a head and the 215 cab as a stand alone. But I am worried that this might not be able to handle the lows. At my nearby music store this will cost me around 500. does anyone have any suggestions that are better than this for that price range?
I believe there was a book that claimed the world was created in seven days. Best-seller too!

A minute is all i need...wait, that came out wrong.

Hartke Amps are unusually loud for solid-state bass amplifiers, and with the graphic EQ it should handle the lows just fine. Most of my experience with Hartke has been with the HA5500 model (500 watts), but that one sounds better and is noticeably louder than their new LH500 solid-state amplifier. If you can spare a little more cash, I would suggest the 500-watt head. Anyway, you should have a good rig there.
