I think that's a bit older than 09. I remember blasting that back in high school.
My style is impetuous.
My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.
I want your heart.
I want to eat your children.

Whatever the list, it should involve Architects for sure. One of the best albums this year in my opinion for the hardcore genre. Either 'Hollow Crown', 'In Elegance' or 'Early Grave' should be included.

Alexisonfire's 'Young Cardinals' possibly as well. Their new stuff has made some debate but I dont mind it.
#31
Architects are more metal than hardcore.

Anyway defeater's Lost Ground EP pretty much dominates the list
Dreams Are For Pussies.

Nightcrawlers - Lewd Acts
Heavy Lies The Crown - Doomriders
Chambered - Narrows
Drifting Thing - Polar Bear Club
Bloodwolves - Pulling Teeth
Enough - Daylight
Honest Sleep - Touche Amore
Symmetry - Title Fight
Shambles - Make Do And Mend

not all strictly hardcore, but shambles rules too much to be left off the list.
