Hey guys
i am getting something for the new year and i thought of replacing my cheap ibanez amp

1: I want an 30w amp with 2 channels ,if its possible( i want to use a footswitch so explain me how too do that i am a strarter)

2: I want nice cleans and some nice clean and also well distorted overdrive
And i want to have a nice distortion for power chords, GNR, iron maiden, etc stuff

Well i am thinking of a vox vt30

i Saw ithis video and and i was amazed
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eDCU6_EU4vc

THIS IS EXACTLY THE CLEAN TONE I WANT, just with some delay and bass

BUT i want some more gain on the overdrive/ distortion

Can the vox achieve this?

I am open to any advices,
Budget: 200 euros

I vote for Vox Valvetronix line. There okay, or you could save some more money and get a Fender Super Champ XD. Thats a great amp aswell.
Gear:
-Gibson Les Paul Studio Cherry Sunburst w/ Alnico Pro II
-1960 Yamaha Orange Sticker Acoustic
-Marshall JCM2000 DSL 401
-Fender Hot Rod Deluxe
-Blackstar HT-5RH

oh yeah. they're good for everything up to straight metal.

also, when you upgrade eventually, have a look at an AC30. you'll like it even more.

Second you dance.

Amen to that. It's a single-channel amp but it's got great cleans and great drive too. Definitely enough gain for the bands you listed. I heard that the gain is easily adjustable with the guitar volume knob. It should suit you very well!

Shoot an e-mail off to Jet City Amplification. I did this, and a week or 2 later, they finished setting stuff up with my local dealers. Ain't that cool?!

isnt the jet city a head?

There is a combo version as well. The price of the combo = price of head + 1x12 cab.

NO ONE?
What about a cheapish tube amp 15 watt and a nice overdrive pedal

Yeah that works too. I would be wary of the Laney VC15..it's not particularly voiced for any modern music...then again GnR and Iron Maiden aren't exactly modern.

Laney LC15 would be much better for you. Great little amp.

Maybe a fender scxd and a distortion pedal?

you're not going to need one with the SCXD. maybe a boost or an overdrive, but distortion pedals arent really necessary with that amp.
