Well I didn't know where else this should go so I decided to put it here.

Basically as the title states,
What is your song of the decade?

Its doesn't have to have any reasoning behind it, it could just be because it awesome

Mine is Best of you by the Foo Fighters

Not sure why it was just the first one that popped into my head lol

When you think about it, that is the perfect nightclub song. But outside of a club, it's just crap.

Mine might be Best of You as well. Go With The Flow is another contender. I couldn't possibly decide though, so much good music came out in the last 10 years.

am i missing a joke here?
going by the most played song on my itunes it's As The Palaces Burn - Lamb of God. We'll dance as the palaces burn!
If BTBAM's Colors counts as a song, soooooo that.

Otherwise, I can't really decide.

YEAH! I saw them 2 weeks ago I can honestly say they're one of the best bands ive ever seen live :P they gave me a free shirt
i would have to go with...

gravity john mayer

but now that i wrote that, i would have to change my answer, to something a little different. I would say the song of the decade would have to be sting's performance of fragile at the concert he did the day of 9/11. although it was not written in this decade, the song basically sums up the whole ten years.
iTunes tells me that it's The Suffering - Coheed and Cambria. I'll agree with that.

TL;DR: Saw a girl at Wal-Mart, she started feeling me up, I jizzed in my pants.

Shit, I'm so pathetic.

[quote="'[BurnTheDusk"]']I agree, tone does sound better the closer your genitals are to the ground.

Between the Buried and Me-Selkes:the endless obsession

normally this question would be too hard, but that song is just my favourite of all time.

Rite of Passage by Dream Theater, Prog Metal ftw

I agree with the last part, but for me its either Octavarium, The Count of Tuscany or Stream of Consciousness. I cant pick between the 3.
Anything off Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water. Greatest album by far of the 2000s.

The Czar by Mastodon or something by Sigur Ros, they have so much good stuff to choose just one.

It would be hard to pick one, so here's a slew of things that I feel have fit my life during this decade:

Pattern Against User- At The Drive-In
A Favor House Atlantic- Coheed And Cambria
The District Sleeps Alone Tonight- The Postal Service
Comany Calls- Death Cab For Cutie
The Wolf Is Loose- Mastodon
With Twilight As My Guide- The Mars Volta (I know its not their best, but it fits a time for me perfectly)
Mouths Like Sidewinder Missiles- The Fall of Troy
Cassius- Foals
Sweet#Hart- Closure In Moscow

List full of win, if you ask me.
I'm Designer- Queens of the Stone Age I think it sums everything up pretty well in my opinion.

By far my favorite of that excellent album.

For me, it would be "Reckoner" by Radiohead.

that joke regarding your username was NOT originally posted by blake1221. That was a Gunpowder original.

Hard to pick one, first one that came to mind though was:
Center of the Universe - Kamelot

- Scott Adams

No they don't, and UG is proof...
Lazy Eye - Silversun Pickups
